Like many, Jack the Ripper was my "gateway" to serial killer research long ago, and it's still a fascinating subject. The narrative of this was incredibly compelling. The details (as usual) were so well done. Also felt a bit of an H.H. Holmes vibe with the way you chose to look here, and I love it.

There are some theories that suggest H.H. Holmes was Jack The Ripper. I’m not 100% on the details but from what I remember, it’s quite a compelling theory with a logical timeline! If you’re interested, I’d give it a research :)

This was so full of eerie suspense! The gloomy color scheme, the way your face sometimes looked almost like a skull and above all those ghostly silvery white lights in your eyes made me feel tensed and uneasy (but of course not REALLY uneasy. *Jim, this is a masterpiece.* _To anyone reading this: I hope you watch this video at least once with headphones because the audio is so amazing, especially with the echoey voice in the first scene._ The audio really had me leaving my body a little bit ☺️ I don’t think I’ve ever been more relaxed (in my whole life? 😅) as I was while watching that first scene. Anyway yeah, this video (more like a short film) was an EXPERIENCE. My god... your voice, your glowing eyes & glowing skin, the music, sounds, aesthetic, and visual effects - I was HYPNOTIZED. I’ve never fallen so deep into any video. I loved the story. Jack the Ripper is such an interesting subject, and I really like how your story seemed to be a combination of different Jack theories. I _almost_ skipped this one. And I'm really glad that I didn't. Normally 'Jack the Ripper' depictions leave me bored as hell and rolling my eyes, but this one overflows with personality and lots of details. You kept me interested and guessing right through to the finish! The unusually timed jump scare (and believe me...I was watching very carefully for it, and _still_ got caught by surprise! o.o; ), and the unusual ending, make for quite the Halloween trick. Topped off by the usual _beautiful_ costuming, acting, and editing treats; makes this unique little film one to adore. Wonderfully done! 👏🙆

I love seeing you develop your craft, Jim! The realism of the carriage scene is exceptional! And the way you look at the viewer with your wide eyes in many of the scenes is haunting along with the music. I've watched this several times. I'm having to rewrite all of this because you tube ate it. I love all these ladies, victims, so much. We've all gasped and gawked at the pics, some of the first crime scene pics ever taken. Pics like that aren't delicious if you know love the lady. Did anyone ever love them? I do. They touch my heart, through time, somehow, their names were Mary Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes, and Mary Kelly. They were so vulnerable, helpless. They didn't deserve it, weren't asking for it, or stupid, unworthy. Or any of the assumptions society still holds. Just gals on the street, suffering. They just did what they had to do. What choice did they have? We just love Jack, fascinate about him. We easily recall the names of murderers, but not the victims. Who the hell was Jack without them? Eff Jack if that was really his name, and the BS letters he maybe wrote. (I doubt that) Jack the ripper, not the white chapel murders, or the 5 ladies. So what became of Jack? I think he died in jail, expired of ill health there, or a charity ward of tertiary syphilis or consumption. (TB) it was rampant then. I like this vid because it reminds me of his victims. How many of us knew, loved or have been acquainted with a murder victim? I personally knew 2 in my life, one a very dear close friend. Why? Is a good enough name for the beast, monster, fiend that haunts me, and my dearest friends children and grandchildren she'll never set eyes upon. Or they her. Why, never leaves any of us who loved her in peace. In pieces, but never peace.
