My son is 23 and has had poorly controlled seizures since he was 5 yrs old. I fully support you taking Wesley on your adventures. It's easy to see how happy he is. We tried not to limit our son's activities (with the exception of American football) and he loves being outdoors fishing and hunting. May God bless your family, you are an inspiration.

Glad you are taking the boys on these trips, even though it is a little more complicated given Westley's seizure disorder. The stimulation of nature seems to be helping him as much as the medication! He's made such great strides physically and looks to be such a happy little guy!! Great work you all!!

Thank you for telling us he was alright in the intro. I don't know if I could have watched this if I thought it might turn out bad. I can't imagine how difficult it must be living a part of your life under a microscope. You have stepped up to the impossible challenges of taking Wes and Hudson with you on adventures most adults could not handle. I'm sure it enriches their lives now, and will enrich their lives in the future, at many levels. But is sure as heck doesn't look easy.

These boys will be so very educated in life that they will do very well. Things don't always go as planned and life shoots you curve balls, but they willbe prepared. Awesome job. Happy birthday Hudson!!! Little man dynamite - he makes my heart flip. Great that our little champion Wesley is doing better and hasn't had any more seizures (I can only imagine how frightening that would have been to see). His smile and laugh are the best! I have to say little Hudson's face sitting in that canoe when you are telling him Wesley is going to be okay nearly snapped my heart in two. Super happy for you all that you can keep adventuring. The boys clearly love being out in the great outdoors.

Seeing someone you love have a seizure is the most terrifying experience, and the whole ‘time reassurance’ thing never makes it any less terrifying. This was a fantastic adventure! It's so commendable that you two are so very versed in Wesleys care. My heart was breaking at the time Tori and Wesley took off in the ambulance. Huddy is such a sweet and clever little boy. He's well on his way to being completely self-sufficient in the wild! He's such a carbon copy of his Dad .I'm so glad Wesley is okay! Other than the terrifying way you found out that he needed a medication increase, he seems to be really doing well. He seems to have more control in his movements. I know nothing about his illness, but it sure seems to me that you are both doing an amazing job! What a wonderful life you provide for both of them. Thank goodness he had his seizures in such an accessible spot.

Praying for WES right now !!! I have seizures since the 60's !!! Found that weather is part of it also !!! But Wes is growing Taller that is part of it !!!
