It's "home from sea"...NOT from the sea. Can't people get this right? Claimants to sooooo much knowlege of Stevenson, and can't get this simple line right. Pleeease...

Well Ricky I guess you never heard of Poetic License. That's the way Tom a real sailor wrote it, so live with it.

I quite understand the purest making this comment but then the metre would not have fitted the tune. It's a folk song and it being treated as such.
