Jim you need a feed bag. It is easier to manage you and your pals food so instead of always needed to feed yourself or your pals you keep a pile or more (depending on bag size) of food in bag slots and just check on that every so often

If I was you I would change the timer for hatching eggs. Move it down to max 1. Speeds up how fast they hatch, 24hrs for a large egg is crazy

I changed it so it's seven and a half minutes, I don't have time to wait a day for eggs to hatch. I love Warframe but the free to play building mechanics are terrible, a new Warframe takes 3 days. I get why it's so long as it's a free to play game (a potential Sossage Party game?) but in Palworld I'm glad you can change that setting.

I've had trouble assigning pals recently - but found out the hard way the fridge only lets you assign if it has stuff in it.

Try the task monitor station it will let you pick assign each pal personally.

jim now you have ring of mercy iit makes capture easy as you have found out now check your pals if you get one with the trait of mercy hit it can not kill only take pals to with an inch of their life like the mercy ring an ideal setup for capture

I found out that its better for your pal to be on focus on same target and not agressive while doing the oil rig

If you are riding a pal the ring of mercy works too. Just don’t dismount
