Great Pictures, we lived downtown in an attic apartment, 1959-60, there was still lots of bombing damage, and downtown was still under construction. Our building was a "rubble house," repaired or rebuilt right after the war. I remember one street being closed, ALL of the building on one side, which almost looked like a shantytown were blown up to start over again.

Die Kultur der Bauten ist leider in KL verloren gegangen, und ich denke das prägt sich auch in der Jugend ein, wenn man in so einer Gegend dann aufwächst.

I love GERMANY! I spent a lot of time there and I WAS NOT IN THE MILITARY!! Just a young working class American Young Man of 25 who worked as an IRONWORKER since he was 18 made money lived a wild single life and FUCKED OFF too GERMANY one Summer while taking a month and a half off from working decided to VISIT EUROPE instead of the JERSEY SHORE!! I went back the following year studied the Language spent time made Friends came back again the next year in 89, 91, and in 1995 lived and worked in BERLIN!! I can tell you If it wasn’t for certain personal circumstances at home I may still be there!! But what I noticed that I found sad was GERMANY AND THE GERMAN RACE AS A PEOPLE AND CULTURE AND HISTORY REGARDLESS OF THE PAST CARRIED A SHAME OF UNIMAGINABLE SORTS!! AFTER 2 WORLD WARS A COLD WAR AND FALSE ACCUSATIONS SOME TRUE BUT NOT DESERVING OF HARSHNESS IT WAS IMPOSED UPON BY AN IDEOLOGY THAT WAS TRULY MORE WORSE THE EVIL OF THE WORLD THAN NATIONAL SOCIALISM!! SORRY!! The WESTERNIZATION THE SHADOW OF THE PAST WITH A MIXTURE OF MODERN DAY MARXISM GERMANY AS WELL AS OTHER GREAT EUROPEAN NATIONS FELL ASLEEP AND INTO A DREAM OF SELF LOATHING OF THEMSELVES!! IF GERMANY AND OTHER WESTERN COUNTRIES KEEP ON THIS PATH THEY WILL NOT ONLY LOSE THEIR CULTURE HISTORY AND HERITAGE BUT SOON THEIR PEOPLE AND WILL BECOME THE NORTHERN CONTINENT OF AFRICA AND THE MIDDLE EAST! ITS TIME TO PUT THE PAST OUT AND RISE UP AND RESUME THEIR PLACE OF GREATNESS AND HISTORY!
