It's not fair to refer JYP as the JYP PD-nim himself because honestly, he's the face of JYP but not the CEO. He doesn't make decisions for the artists and even the artists can choose the songs themselves now like how TWICE can choose other songs apart from what JYP produced. But I agree the ones making the decisions in JYPE need to focus on the less popular artists that they have. But like people would say, popularity matters a lot. Even with tons of promotion, if her fanbase doesn't grow, then she won't be able to do comebacks that much since they cost money and the company has other artists, staff, trainees they need to support. I just hope that people don't sleep on her talent and soon 15& will get recognition

Anais Persephone It's happened even before Twice. Even Wonder Girls, 2PM and Miss A were put to the side until the only thing left was do it themselves or disband. Wonder Girls did the first and then the second. Jia left to do her own thing and eventually Miss A disbanded as well. The company is shocking with not putting effort into their teams who aren't promoting or trending. Such is why JYP has the moniker of being a dungeon.

(I have a guide of them on my channel btw) So since I just went through the comments I want to make some points and give my opinion about this whole Jimin/15& and JYP(E) situation, feel free to correct me or leave your opinion too. *FIRST* The fact that you come here to say that she doesn't get promoted because she doesn't sell is absurd and no offence, but y'all need to inform yourselves before commenting that. When she sold the same/more amount than GOT7 when she released 19to20. *SECOND* Please don't come here to just hate on TWICE or any other artist. Yes, JYP focuses way more on TWICE than any other artist but it's not their /TWICE/ fault + y'all should be sad about them because they must be hella exhausted, they had like +6 comebacks last year, concerts, variety and now they have +2 comebacks planned for 2018. *THIRD* Has to do with the last point, but ONCEs, don't come here and get offended because people say JYP focuses more on TWICE when it's the truth, no one's hating on TWICE for sayin that, they're just stating facts. Now, *my opinion + some other facts/history* (warning: kinda long, lol): Yes, fuck it. JYP has been treating Jimin and 15& like shit for the last 6 years and there's no one who can tell me otherwise. When 15& debuted we can say that they were a hit, boy they had +820,000 sales on their DEBUT single. What did JYP do? That's right, lack in promotions. 15& only had like 3 ?? stages on music shows. After months, they had a comeback, did super well too btw. But what did we get? The same thing again, lack in promotions. And that continued on and on, on the Can't Hide It era it became a lil better, but not that much tho. People started to kinda "forget" 15&, they didn't see much of them so I guess that was it. *To wrap this up*, every song that they released did well, everyone knew 15&, they were even nominated to a lot of awards and even Bonsangs. But now let's get into Jamie's solo career, her debut? Sucked. Not the song, Hopeless Love is amazing, but the promotions. And I'm not even lying, she had ONE stage on K-Pop Star, ONE. When she released 19to20, she did well as I said before but they didn't even promoted her. The thing is she has potential, and even for variety shows but they don't even give her a chance. Now she had a whole album ready, written by HERSELF but they didn't let her release it because *it wasn't generic pop*, so they said it won't sell. Ugh. Now, apparently, she's given the chance to release it and now she's apparently fixing the last details and will release it soon. But it's sad to think she had to do that (call them out) so they could let her. *But anyways, support her, Yerin, JYPE artists, Ravi and his mixtape! Spread love*

Honestly it’s very sad that companies are very biased to certain acts. Usually when one act is popular you would think that companies would use that act to promote the company as a whole to draw attention to other singers but it ends up being the complete opposite. If I were Jimin I would’ve taken matters into my own hands. Even if she was saying it in a joking way, she spoke up which sparked some debate at least. Now she’s getting to release an album she’s been working on for a while... you see, if she hadn’t said anything that would’ve never happened. Her voice is amazing. Hopefully JYPE gives her more recognition.

I know Jimin wants to release her style of music and the company wants her to make generic pop, and that's one the main reasons why they are holding her back, but then what was the point of creating Studio J to give artistic freedom to the artists if that's exactly what you are denying them? I remember JYP saying that the company only focuses on popular artists (those that can generate more money for the company) so that’s why you have Twice and Got7 constantly releasing songs and making comebacks but you don’t hear much from Jimin Park, Day6, Bernard Park and all the other artists locked inside JYP’s dungeon. I don't think you understand the concept of a corporation here. When JYP was the CEO and sole owner, sure, he must've had a huge input in everything. But now as JYP Ent has gone public (meaning anyone can buy their shares), the management shifts from being a company owned by Jinyoung Park into JYP Ent the independent company, managed by a separate management team with a board of directors and all these corporate systems I won't bore you with. Jinyoung Park in fact only owns 16.2% of the company and he's not even the CEO or the CFO now. And even if he were in control of everything, he can't simply do anything as he likes; there has to be considerations of whether this will benefit the company or not. You can't cater to personal feelings in the business world

I'm an avid JYP Nation fan but tbfh, the company sucks at handling/promoting their other artists esp their soloists. I feel so bad for them cos their songs and their freakin voices are so freakin awesome! Dmn I don't even know where Yerin and Bernard are now 😔 Even G-Soul, who was their longest time trainee (but he debuted in JYP) left the company cos he didn't got the promotion that he deserved. EDIT: I remember now Bernard recently changed his name to Nakjoon and also debuted last June but dude didn't got even a million view 'til now 😭😭😭
