I think about this a lot. Jimin is so caring and aware of others because his dad has always been like that for him. Someone once said "Jimin's dad is his Jimin." Parenting is so powerful. We have to be thankful to his dad for teaching Jimin how to love and care for others so well.

I fell in love with Jimin when I saw him dancing, then his voice. But then, when I got to see a glimpse of Jimin’s personality, I fell in love with Jimin all the more. JIMIN is like oxygen I breathe. There’s not a day goes by without looking at a clip of Jimin whether it be his mesmerizing and powerful dancing, singing or him being goofy, mischievous and funny. I’ve never yet seen someone so inspiring like Jimin before. Extremely hard working, resilient, thoughtful, affectionate, caring, sincere, mischievous, goofy and many more. Now, I am also a mother with young children, so naturally, I began to wonder how he must have been raised to grow up to be such a wonderful person, for lack of better word. Watching some of these interactions of Jimin and his family taught me quite a bit. Unlike typical Korean (maybe most Asians) upbringing where parents try to discourage certain things/activities from their children in order to fit them into the mold that they envision for their children (sort of like Namjoons UN speech), Jimin’s parents seem to have been wholeheartedly supportive and loving. Jimin wanted to learn kendo because he wanted to be the best pirate swordsman after falling in love with a character in manga, and his parents lovingly supported him (would I lovingly support this innocence or would I try to instill reality to my children... shamefully probably the latter). How about when Jimin had so much prospect as a classically trained professional contemporary dancer from a prestigious art school in Korea, but yet he decided to throw it all away to be a singer, with no training. which he has the chance of 1 in a million in the notoriously cutthroat competitive field. But again, his parents supported him. Would I have? Honestly speaking, probably not. But now I know that this upbringing probably helped Jimin become who he is today. JIMIN seems to be a person with goals and purpose in life. In other words, he takes total ownership and control of his life and actions. In contrast, children who grow up being forced to be a shadow of what their parents set out for them, most of them do not have control of their lives. It’s almost as if they don’t own their lives. I am Asian and I lived this, and I hated this. However, now that I am a mother, I find myself doing the same thing to my own children. I didn’t even realize that I was doing this until I started to reflect upon myself after seeing Jimin. I have so much respect for his loving and supportive parents. Jimin is so loving. He knows how to be loved and wholeheartedly appreciate the love and return the love. It’s probably possible because he was so loved by his parents. We all love our children but sometimes we don’t know how to love the right way, against our true intentions. I learn from Jimin everyday. He makes me want to be a better person and better parent. He teaches me to stay resilient in difficulties. I just love Jimin with all my heart just the way he is, not because he is perfect but because he is someone who is so beautiful inside and out. He is so inspiring even with slight imperfections, if any. He is always growing as a person everyday. And I choose to stand by him as a fan as long as possible. 영원히 사랑해 나의 가수 나의 스타 나의 아티스트 지민 💛

Jimin excelled academically. In Korea getting good grades and getting into a university is everything. Yet his parents allowed him to go to arts school then become a kpop trainee. They must be very brave people.

Yes. As someone with (far from top grades) the grades required to do both music and law, I opted out of music because I was scared about job prospects. They're brave people for letting him take that route, but they sure as hell made the right decision :)

The only thing I know is that Jimin's parents must be the best parents in the world, they have raised and made a man too beautiful not only physically but also soul. You can see the good education and love they gave him and his brother, his father recently made an anonymous donation on behalf of Jimin to an area very affected by the floods and floods that hit his country to re-establish one of the affected schools and other works, this is all known by media filtration not by the family directly, the love that surrounds its core is something true and very beautiful.

it's very telling because he grew up in busan which is known to be a very traditional gender city that encourages toxic masculine. his parents supported him in contemporary dancing, being a kind hearted person, exploring himself and being unafraid to express emotions and affection. they raised a beautiful person in a warm and healthy environment and jimin created that same open and free environment within bts where they believed in being 'manly'

I wish I had a close relationship with my parents. We used to be close when I was a kid but I realized that we have far too many different morals. I wish I could say "I love you" or carry a conversation with them without feeling discomfort. If I can't find comfort in my family at least I have BTS, they're my chosen family and my comfort, they found me when I needed them most. I just hope that I can find people I'm comfortable with and show them compassion that I haven't shown to many people.

Yes it is his truly unconditionally loving, compassionate, & understanding family - especially his father - that molded the beautiful man-angel who is our Bias JIMIN. Yes the photo with the one man in it that you asked about is his dad. He has such a Thoughtful Loving caring family his parents ..... that's the thing DT for a son i think they look upto a male role model in Their Father a lot.. & his father understood it really well & Displayed such Gentleman Nature & He grew up witnessing that ... so ofcrs !!! yes he has a little brother same age as Koo & that's why he plays cares & loves koo the same way.... but not exactly same after all blood relations are blood relations and Koo is the Band Member so, there will be ofcrs diff. in that but still JIMIN knows only to Love & Care & Caress Others he sees in need consoling but people often interpret in diff. ways and it's ..... i don't even wanna talk about it anyways .... I saw that BTS run episode and a vid of him talking to his dad on the phone. The way he talks to his parents sound so lovely. He used "nupimal" which is the polite way of talking to someone.. The way he also talks to them, like the tone of his voice and all are all endearing even when he talks to the other members and other people..

DT's daughter is lucky her father found jimin and trying to be a better father and kinder person in life damn, my father is not a good one he never wished me a happy birthday he don even know , he never hugged me in my entire life , once I was a kid he asked me to come and sit on his lap when I went to him he ended up beating me for no reason at first I thought he is just playing cause I have done nothing wrong when it hurt I realised it's not joke, the second time he asked me to give him a hug I was absolutely hard broken 😭 after I ran to him to save me after I got beaten so bad that I was bleeding from my head so I screamed for help and he came out so I ran to him for support then he ripped my clothes off he choked me with his feet over my neck and beat me so bad it was some festival that day so I was wearing my new clothes all my clothes ripped apart. I can't get over that day of my life ( for the record I am not a trouble maker kid, I am the funniest kid and also the most intelligent kid b/w my siblings) I have achieved so much during my school and college he never reacted to any of them, I receive no call from him in years. In my entire life I am grown person he never purchased me a dress or pants once I asked so much for months then he purchased me a scarf the price was 3$ then he told to shopkeeper that he is going to be broke bcz of my useless demands. I PROMISED MYSLEF THAT I AM NEVER GONNA DATE OR MARRY ANOTHER MAN OR GIVE BIRTH TO ANOTHER HUMAN JUST TI BRING ANOTHER MISERY IN LIFE.

I'm so sorry your father treated you like that. He doesn't deserve to be in your life after doing such horrible things. I hope you find happiness in life and come across enough good people to know that there are good people out there.. You'd never let your child be treated the way you were, so don't let his behaviour hold you back from finding and cherishing something beautiful.. Whatever gives you joy is worth it. All the members always do huge donations by his own but I think Jimin's dad is the only family member of them that is involve in all of the donations of his son. When there's news about it, they always mention Jimin's dad I'm gonna be real, I'm pretty sure all their parents are great, amazing people, but for what I know so far my role models as fathers are Jimin's dad and JK's mom. I wish I can be like them as a parent, don't stress my children out and support their dreams

There's a public article you can search about Jimin/his family contributing 100 million won in a scholarship fund, and Jimin's dad is on the left. It's really interesting to see his facial features! Not sure where you can find pictures of his brother and mother without them being leaks though. Also, though JHope is creeping up as my absolute bias, there's nothing that gives me more joy than another adult ARMY gushing over their bias. My personal friends that watch your videos agree with me and they have a range of favourite members. Let them complain and shrug it off. You acknowledge every other member individually also in their solo vids and in the group vids.

Do we all remembers when Jimin said that when he was a kid, he found on the street 1 cent(or something like that, but in won of course ) and he took it to the police station😂😂And yes he has a little brother.He is always saying that he likes Jungkook so much because he reminds him of his brother(Jk and Jimin's brother have the same age)
