Martin Short is (of course), Canadian so I love it when he sets off on his Canada rants with fellow Canadians. They're born impatient ... impatient to get the hell out of Canada. Guests KNOW beforehand that he is going to razz them and when the physical comedy comes into play but there still seem to be some fantastic improv.

"Do gay lawyers want a color coordinated jury?" As a gay guy attorney, I am amazed that I never heard that one-liner before because it's absolutely hilarious on a few levels! Long live Martin Short and I, too, miss seeing him continue his Jiminy Glick shtick these many years later!

And what a gift to the USA that they come here (many from Canada) to make their unique kind of comedic worldviews available to us, and thereby the entire free world. What a lasting treasure they will remain even long after they are physically gone!

That's the problem, the reason the show was short lived was because the celebs have to be able to laugh at themselves, not be insecure.

McCormack was up to the challenge here - he had the 2 best lines! The “hung jury” line was brilliant! I bet Short was even just a little jealous that he didn’t think of that.

Love this character, but it works better for me, when the guest is him/herself. Eric was obviously playing a part here. It seemed scripted and rehearsed more.
