Man I’d love to see how you learned so film yourself to prevalently - it’s one of my goals this year to appear front camera and do this kind of personal vlog style - inspired by you. Hauling a tripod everywhere ? Gimbal ? Magic arms ?

Oh dude, just wrote an essay responding to this and then my net went down! Dang! OK Short version as I need to get back to my TERRIBLE piano practise haha! - peak design 11mm sling back is the perfect size for lightness + capacity for "on-the-go" - Ulanzi TT38 is a brilliant hand held tripod with great functions (highly recommend) - Tripod 100% best value is the Neweer LT 32 - light, ballhead, carbon and 150 in comparison to the Peak Design Travel Tripod which is like 650 euros Main thing: Just go for it brother! You will feel self conscious in public at the start - takes time to get over. Most people though are curious, give a grin or get involved. If someone is negative, let that live in them, not use. Have the courage to "be bad" -- it really helps me just to press record over a few days and not over think it or over script it Getting more fluent with speaking takes time -- so don't worry at all if you mess up or can't get it out like you want to Just keep trying! Remember - the act of trying will make the ideas inside you root themselves more - and in turn also improve your ability to get them over in spoken form And what a great side effect of vlogging - that your communication improves That is a massive life skill. So just go for it - and throw off the demons and negative self talk They'll come up -- but the act of making stuff - and getting a bit better each time will make them respect you - and then help you! p.s I hardly ever take the tripod anywhere - in this video I didn't even have the mini one - so just stuck it on the surface (for the shot in the thumb) The Ulanzi is terrific though and that I do take with me most of the time
