Single dad Keith has just moved in to Delia Street with his daughter Kendra. Almost immediately, he spots his hot neighbor named Rob whose playful and teasing tactics seemed to get under the skin of Keith. Very quickly, the two developed a bond through baking, cooking, and watching movies together. However, the two’s closeness was scrutinize by a busybody neighbor, Mrs. Jannsen, who was also a notorious gossip and started spreading stories about Keith and Rob. Unbeknowst to Keith, Rob actually has a wife. Another neighbor accidentally reveals this information to Keith and he breaks off his relationship with Rob. Kendra, Keith’s daughter, notices the devastation his father has been experiencing and decides to coordinate with Rob. Kendra is revealed to be the daughter of Keith from his marriage whereby unfortunately, his wife passed away due to a heart attack and he thought he could never love romantically again. Rob and Keith then continue to be at a distance, but one day, as neighbors continued harassing Keith for allegedly being a homewrecker, both Rob and Jess come to his defense. Finally, on Keith’s birthday, Kendra conspired with Rob and Jess to prepare him a surprise. Keith and Rob finally reconciled and it was revealed that for formalities sake, Jess and Rob will be ending their arrangement and getting a divorce. Keith gives Rob a second chance and together, the four of them formed an unexpected new family.

I really enjoyed this. I'm getting older and yearning for an actual relationship since my late-husband passed away a few years ago. But I'm beginning to think that guys like me, in their 50s, will never get the chance to settle again. The gay world is not a pleasant one to it's own aging gay men. It's sad.

Take your time. When the time is right, open the gate to let them in. Don’t shut the world out due to heart break. It’s not a fun way to go about life.
