I had only been in Sydney, Australia for two months when this song came up on the Radio Stations, they used to play it on 2SM (Rock of the 80's) I was 21 y.o. Miss those great years, couldn't understand the lyrics then since my native language is Spanish, I do now after 43 years in this country. RIP Iggy.

Never heard of the band or this song. It was recommended to me after watching a Lyn Van Hecke video. The singer sounds like Tim Finn (from Split Enz), but funny enough, it was only written by him.

Ignatius Jones was the singer. He is now an events director in Sydney. He is the man behind Sydney's New Year's Eve firework show. One year after this song, Ignatius Jones had something of an MTV hit with ''Like A Ghost''.
