Thank you all for the support.for this particular video I use a yamaha hybrid maple absolute 22,10,12,14,16 shells . 14" by 5.2" super sensitive snare as main one. Second snare is a 14" by 7" with lots of tape: and tuned low. Zildjian cymbals: New dar K ride 22", hats 4" ,Kerope 18", 18" A crash with holes, and a 22" A China.And LP salsa bell hammered. Remo coated ambassador on top and coated power stroke 3 on the kick Vic firth MJC4 jazz sticks. I change drumsticks, drumheads, drum sizes , and cymbals setup depending on the idea i want to express.

Thank you for sharing! Where would one find different bata loops like this? P.S. Descarga En California was one of my intros into drum set on this style of music. Rebecca Mauleon gave me a copy when I played a concert with her in a youth program as a kid. It made such an impact on me, so thank you!

Very nice playing. Is that a Yamaha maple hybrid? I have the old version Yamaha absolute nouveau maple and i still love it to this day. Had it about 11 years now. These seem to be like them but with more attitude and better projection as well. Rly great cause the only thing they seemed lacking in was attack and now with the hybrid it seems they have a 10 in attack but still somehow maintained that warm Yamaha tone of the absolutes. Did you ever play the old absolute maples if so how would you say they differ?
