Jimmy Bullard - a very underrated midfielder! Not Lampard or Gerrard level fosho, but a player who has done pretty well for himself and performs for his teams when needed. Glad to see this man after a long time just enjoying himself. You can definitely tell that he certainly loves his job a lot!

Jake Taylor obviously, Jimmy played in four leagues above Akinfenwa at some point in the prem whilst Bayo was playing in league 2. Can’t take away Bayo’s footballing ability from him, as he’s been a top player at his level all his career and has scored goals wherever he’s been. However, Jimmy’s just got too much class as a footballer. Very underrated and technical player through his career.

Interesting fact about that goal from a Toffee. We had won the previous 5 prem games ALL 1-0 and with 6 minutes left we were 1-0 up again, it was going to take something special to stop our amazing run. And then Shearer happened. And to rub it in, they scored a winner with 2 minutes left. FFS.

Has Jimmy ever actually got it first time? I seem to remember a few occasions when he gets it off the rim on the first shot, but has he ever actually hit top bins first up?

I saw one - an unbelievable one, a Thierry strike where he whipped around on a volley, then put it in the top corner - where Jimmy was ~this~close to getting it in the first try. Actually, not a try, but a demo. Sadly, it didn't stay in the bucket, but still, everyone about died.

This is nothing like Shearers volley. This is easy compared to Shearers. It had up and down dip and right to left dip all at the same time and was at least double this distance.
