The problem with Jay saying Giannis needs to guard Jimmy is the fact that he did guard Jimmy for a good amount of possessions in the first quarter. There was one play where Jimmy was in the paint with Giannis and Jimmy used his incredible footwork to pivot around him. The best bet for the Bucks to come back in this series is to double him and just make someone else beat them.

Yeah Giannis is wasted 1 on 1 against Jimmy. Giannis’s defensive strength is as a help defender- ideally you want somebody else guarding him and have Giannis come over for the double team or the trap. But that’s ideal and that’s not how it’s going now.
