They should keep him as far away from this team as they can. Jimmy has completely checked out and will only be a distraction, which would hinder the development of these young players and hurt the team chemistry as a whole. Bam is the team Captain, he needs to speak up on behalf of the team. Micky needs to act like a billionaire and not worry about losing $50 millions ahead of causing the team to lose games, especially games they should win. Don't bring Jimmy Butler back under any circumstances, even if he they can't trade him this season or even next season. Just cut your losses and move on. Who cares about his trade value at this point, if he's not putting forth his best effort to help the team win, which obviously he's showing he really doesn't care about. I don't even believe he cares about strengthening his trade value to help facilitate a trade because of his lack of effort. This is exactly why I said the NBA should return to making it mandatory that players play out their contracts and only allow extensions once they have completed their contracts. The owners need to take back their leverage because some of these star players like Jimmy Butler have forgotten about where they've come from. Jimmy wasn't always a millionaire. He used to be broke and had nothing, which made him grind hard everyday to make it to the league. Now, he's acting like he's been rich all of his life, which is essentially why he's acting like the way he is. He has no loyalty to his team, fans and in some instances even himself.
