Then you've not seen a lot of shows. Shows like Whose Line is it Anyway, Conan O'Brien, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown... and several others constantly have the contestants/guests and even audience members use the cameras. And even when they don't use them, the camera men are referred to many times by the host, mostly to joke with them and do bits with them.

Good show, but there's one thing that irks me. Why are brits incapable of pronouncing Spanish words correctly (at least on some shows)? It's like they don't even try (or care).
@TheLastCrusader223 ай бұрын
It's almost like they don't speak Spanish! Crazy right?! I might as well ask why you don't pronounce Swedish words correctly, because you don't speak it!
@christianboehlefeld51683 ай бұрын
@@TheLastCrusader22 On the other hand; Brits do still have the vowel sounds that occur in Spanish and a tendency to vacation in Spain, as well as other European countries that use the same vowels.
@TheLastCrusader223 ай бұрын
@@christianboehlefeld5168 What does that have to do with it? Brits visit Spain like all other Europeans do: in groups socialising only with their own nationality. There's actually an old Swedish comedy film from the 80s or late 70s where they make fun of this, a bunch of people travel to Spain for Christmas and then they complain that it's no different to Christmas at home. It's been like this forever. You need not learn, or even hear, a single word of Spanish in many tourist parts of Spain

Brits: let's use a foreign word from an ancient dead language as the name of this plant. Rest of the world: the unripe fruit looks like an egg, so it's an eggplant.
@TetrisH8er3 ай бұрын
Not really the rest of the world, in French, Dutch, German, Danish and many more it's basically Aubergine. Really, there aren't many languages in the world that name it after it's likeness to an egg

The inconsistencies are weird, they accepted Netflix series, despite the fact that it was "specials" but didn't accept peter david or Steven Something
@KaiOpaka4 ай бұрын
Those aren't inconsistencies. The guy's name is not Peter David, it's Peter Davidson (there is in fact an author named Peter David). Something and someone are two different words and the whole point was what specific word. Specials and series are kind of just different words to say something that aired on Netflix. In a way those two words can be synonymous-- different countries call it one or the other. The Netflix thing is what they were looking for. Not some word that just indicated it was a show.😢

@@rammers2802 "With his winning's he'll take his mom on an Elvis tour" is what they literally just told you in his introduction
@rammers28024 ай бұрын
@benjaminaskren9075 Well I guess she had to write the question to reflect exactly what was said, but even then I don't think the information was well conveyed in the first place. A performer may tour and you go see them. You may go on a tour of a place. You don't go on a (person) tour. (Or is it natural to say that?) If you didn't know the answer you would likely think it was somebody living. Hate to be the grammar police but when there's big money at stake everything should be clear in a game like this.
