Ken Adriano they are awesome and super nice! I got to meet them when I was 18 back in 2002. They let me and my sister cut in line and go to the front cause we had our 3 year old niece with us. A year later we went to their concert and right before the concert started we went to pay for our parking spot and I ran into rick birch getting out of a taxi. I got to meet him again and get a few pictures with him.

I think the chorus and bridge of this song sounds like it could've been on "Bleed American"

Wow 208 views after 10 hours, shows how irrelevant this band and nme are in 2019

Luke James Not sure how they’re ‘irrelevant’, but okay. Still one of the best bands working today.

Luke, the music business is different today then it was in the 80's or 90's. Relevant is relative. The game is a little different today. I don't know what you mean by relevant....maybe you are correct; however, Jimmy Eat World is successful and when you add up all the platforms/audiences that they impact, they are very successful. I was an extra in the All the Way(Stay) music video. It was a small budget, fast shoot(didn't show the band) which had to be shot, edited, and released in 1 week. It was commissioned by RCA Music Group and at this writing has almost 500K views and was shot in and done by an all Ohio cast and crew that has Hollywood film experience. A Good investment and a bargain. Their next video(Which actually shows the band) probably had a bigger budget(but not like an 80's budget) and now has about 5 million views. Another Good Investment. That's just on KZbin. You have to add in TV appearances, streaming, concert attendance, etc. Back in the day, few groups were chosen by the Gate Keepers and only a few groups reached superstar status. Now, you don't even need a Major label to get in the game. For example, I wrote and produced songs for a jazz group, The Hip Surveyor's Club debut album "Claire Goes to Paris". There was minimal promotion, no touring, just the internet and word of mouth. With less than $500 manufacturing and marketing budget, the group on Spotify alone has 2300 followers, and nearly 40,000 streams in 13 countries. I guess my point is that in the internet age, no one has to know your name and you can have an impact on large audiences either in the States or other countries. The Hip have more impact/relevance now then they would have been in the 80's/90's when they would have just been a local/regional American band. I think Jimmy Eat World is a 90's group that is relevant but they are influencing many audiences on 100's of media platforms instead of just a few(Network TV, Major Labels) like in the old days. You may be right, but you may be wrong. I guess it depends on your definition of relevant. Just my thoughts. Stay frosty my Brother. Peace.
