The year was 2001, I was 12 years old, my older cousin was busting The Middle as loud as it could go on his Sony HiFi system, that was the day I was introduced to Jimmy Eat World, ever since I have been a huge fan. Being introduced to them with Bleed American was priceless, Futures is amazing too, every single song they have written reminds me of that specific time in my life and my own story attached to it like many will say too. 23 is the ultimate song, I have a plethora of precious moments and memories attached to that song, many good, many bad, but at the end of the day it is very special to me. I have learnt many lessons in my life while listening to all of these, and of course all the other albums too. Man I wish I could see them live. Love, from the east coast of South Africa.

10/20/2022 - I found this gem of a video. I will never forget listening to Futures for the first time in high school in 2004 and being completely blown away and in love. It's still absolute perfection all these years later.

For me it’s Work and Kill. My 2 favorite JEW songs of all time. If I could only have 1 song to listen to for the rest of my life it’s probably be Kill. You can scream it in your car or slow dance to it, even now I find new meaning in the lyrics and it applies to my life in the ups and downs… it’s the perfect song.
