What a genuine guy, you can tell he's really grateful for the opportunity...and its amazing that when something is written in the stars for you, everything will align to make it happen..for gods sake the show was given to another guy and look what happened? All that happened so that Jimmy would eventually be the host ( unfortunate for Conan, but thats life), it was meant for him. It feels like a fresh new show with a younger vibe so Ill probably start watching now, I already like the format and he's different from the other hosts because he can do the sketches and the music parodies. People kept comparing Fallon to late night hosts like Letterman, Carson, Leno, Kimmel and Conan without even realizing that he's just starting out and those men that he's being compared to are already legends that have proven themselves in the field and that are on TV now for years or even decades. Fallon only has 6-7 years under his belt, and his ratings are impressive. I just can't fathom why some people kept on bitching about his hosting. Everyone has to start somewhere and with those ratings, I think he's starting to build his legacy in late night showmanship.

The thing I love about Jimmy Fallon is the fact that he is so humble. Like really how many people that are as famous as jimmy show how appreciative they are. From the way he introduced himself the way any normal person would to the way he genuinely lights up when he talks about his family and friends. And the thing that annoys other people is what I find so charming, which is the fact that he is never afraid to show his excitement and enthusiasm when meeting celebrities. Its like by just looking at his face you can always tell that he is always thinking and aware of how truly blessed he is. He's a breath of fresh air and a truly deserving man!

Jimmy Fallon really is a modern internet-age star. He emotes more than any other host I have ever seen. He interacts on a very human level. Often when he invites guests on his show he is a fan and he has no problem with acting like one. He is visibly nervous in this clip, but who wouldn't be? I think on SNL his expressiveness was a detriment but on a talk show he is as genuine as they come. And in the age of the internet with stars communicating regularly with their fans, that is huge.

I watched Johnny Carson as a kid. I thought I would never watch the tonight show again. When they brought Jimmy Fallon on I was excited. I love Jimmy Fallon and think he is a great successor to Johnny Carson.

Such a nice guy. I was skeptical that he could handle hosting The Tonight Show after only 5 years on Late Night (Letterman hosted Late Night for over 12 years) but I think Jimmy will be fine. Personality goes a long way with an audience. I'll watch.

Jimmy is a great man, a husband and dad. When he says that his wife and children is the best thing in his life he met and barely restrains tears with emotion. It's so cute and charming. He has a very loving family. Always talking about his wife "my beautiful wife," and still talks about daughters, and the pictures always keeps his wife's hand. Great guy. Lovely family.
