I discovered who Jimmy Fortune was just a few weeks ago when I ran across this song. I knew who the Statler Brothers were but they were just another group that I liked but not a favorite. Jimmy opened my eyes. One of the prettiest songs I’ve ever heard and I immediately had to learn it. It’s been a great experience discovering how really great the Statler Brothers were (and are) and Jimmy’s history with them. I’ll definitely will be following Jimmy’s career and catching up on some lost time knowing the Statler Brothers great talent. Thanks Jimmy and you obviously sing and write from a Christian’s heart.
