@nakim55 I heard him and his trio at the 5 Spot in the late spring or summer of '75. He was playing the last weekend of a three-week stint there. I heard him on a Friday night, my first night in New York and my first time to hear Taylor in person. I came back on his last night, Sunday. A young skinny tenor player sat in with him on his last set. He was great. Much later, I realized the tenor player was David Murray, at the infancy of his career.

I had the experience of hearing the cecil taylor trio at the 5 spot in the fall of 1975, something I will NEVER forget.
