Its ironic that I come across this music video and song when a few hours ago I was at a conference where one session was focused on Coloured Consciousness. A quote by the facilitator: "We are coloured by life, not genetics" and I think this music video represents the colourfulness that we embrace, the traditions that we incorporate in our lives that are deemed 'coloured' attributes.
