Alien has a female lead and its one of the best movies ever made, in my opinion, and was a huge success. It all comes down to content.

The vagina and lactation thing, he's making fun of women who are only vaginas and tears, and those women deserve ridicule because they are capable of more. dogs dont get made fun of for being dumb and licking their nuts or cunts cuz they can't do anything else. but overly emotional women can be more than that. but that takes desire and discipline, and that takes self-respect. so for many, its a long shot.

I don't really think that people have to over-think humor. You should be able to shit on women for next to no other reason than a cheap laugh. As anything else. I don't think that those women deserve ridicule. They're fine. The humor, for me, lies in shitting on them for no real reason.

The wage gap is nonsense, if women aren't motivated enough to go for higher paying jobs then how is that men's or society's fault? Also, this movie sucks because the character is a selfish loser who's still trying to "find herself " when she's pushing 40 and has a loving husband who she does not care for anymore because she deems him boring.

*By the way*. Aren't movies like Inception inherently more watchable simply because they're thrillers/action movies first and movies about finding yourself second? Anyone can enjoy that. The movies she's talking about are very gender specific. They're not action/suspense movies at all. They're purely about finding yourself, which is inherently not as interesting to most people.
