Amazing song! My dad has worked in the mines for 30 years and still going! It gives me chills thinking and makes me extremely grateful for what he and so many more do! It's not an easy job or a safe one! But I thank each and every coal miner for what they do or have done!

@steelersfan40 I've listened to a lot of music whether it be hip hop, rock, old rock, classical, bluegrass, and country and there's no category I've missed and I'm here to tell you that Aaron Lewis nor anybody else has this much heart in the songs they sing. He has the heart because he's lived the hell it talks about. Rock is my favorite music but this guy right here he trumped every other favorite song I've ever had in my life.

This song touched my heart!! All my family has worked in the coal mine, even my grandmother..I am from a the small town of Haysi Virginia, about 45 minutes from Pikeville. I completely understand where your heart is in this song. Many people don't understand the dangers of coal mining and take for granted that coal really does keep the lights on.
