I always loved how wonderful Jimmy swaggart used the Anita Kerr singers in the 60s and later Dwain and Phil Johnson too in the seventies. Boy Jimmy swaggart was an inovator.

I gave up listening to traditional country music when I got saved (never listened to the contemporary kind) because of the glorification of worldly sinful imagery most of it portrayed: adultery, drinking alcohol, etc etc. The lyrics just got depressing and tiresome. But I really missed those country music sounds and rhythms. Then I discovered Jimmy Swaggart's albums and am so very happy to be able to hear that country sound once again but with God-fearing lyrics. Thank you for your channel and yes I gladly subscribed. AMEN!!!!! Have you ever listened to the song, "I've Never been THIS Homesick Before" by Jimmy and John Starnes? The song is found on the album jacket for "One More Time" You'll be crying! I was listening to that song at work, while doing my bathroom cleanup . Nearly broke up crying .
