They focused mostly on the graduating seniors. This was their last competition (Some, like Artie, Blaine, Tina, etc. we're juniors). Cory always sounded best when he sang a classic rock song. It suited him. I still get choked up when Rachel points to Finn when he's belting out that last note. RIP Cory and Naya.❤ New Directions definitely deserved to win (IMO).

We are the champions is one of my favorite moments in the whole series. For all the crap Schue gets online, he loved those kids and they loved him. Brings a tear to my eye every time.

Yes, Finn had proposed to her before Sectionals or Regionals and they were supposed to get married but they were all waiting for Quinn to get there and then she got in the car accident.

What i found funny/ironic in this episode in particular is in "Dashboard Lights" Finn's lines are "Let me sleep on it... Let me sleep on it i'll give you an answer in the morning" to rachel's lines "Will you take me away will you make me your wife?" Which is a flip in the episode because Finn earlier in the season Asked Rachel to marry him and she asked for more time to think on her answer (keep in mind they are older teens at this point in their last year of High School)

Paradise by the Dashboard Light (Meatloaf and Ellen Foley) is one of the all time greatest classic rock/rock opera ever created. All Coming Back to Me is Celine Dion. Yes, Unique was part of the "More Friends than You Know" performance. This was her first or second episode. Whoopie is the head of the performing arts college Rachel wants to go to but she choked on her audition. This was Whoopie giving her a second chance.

It happens that sometimes some competitors joined the Glee club or viceversa so yes, Unique's the same character that sang the original song and also, some competitors were better than New Directons arguably but we root for them because they are the protagnists and we follow their story.

i think this performance cory was at his peak he improved from the earlier seasons and this was before he was deep into his drug habit at this time (i believe it was back and forth like a lot of drug habits so i could be wrong and he could have been using here but in season 4 is when he noticeably looks like it's really impacting him) when he kind of fell more downhill this is how i like to remember cory (and no, this is not at dig at cory i just think this is the most impressive he's been and every time i see this i think of him more than anyone else and how we lost such an amazing talent and person [from what i've heard])

I saw a picture when they were transporting Cory's body and when it came of the plane, someone got a photo (kind of crappy but clear enough) of Lea laying over the coffin, BROKEN. She had to hide at Kate Hudson's house after his death for idk how long because she was HOUNDED by reporters because they were together. She couldn't even grieve in peace. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

@@Stark-Raving there are pictures of lea being in the same clothes standing NEXT to the casket and lying across it. She clearly not lying across some soldier's, broken to pieces. Makes A LOT more sense that the next shot was Cory.
