My favorite songs from Brooks & Dunn are That Ain’t No Way To Go; Whiskey Under the Bridge; Neon Moon; Hard Workin’ Man; She Used To Be Mine; Brand New Man; She’s Not the Cheatin’ Kind; If You See Him, If You See Her (with Reba McEntire); and of course Believe!

As was mentioned, this is a true story from singer Ronnie Dunn's childhood in Denton Texas. In the beginning of the song/video old man Rigby is teaching him about God and the afterlife in a quiet and gentle way. After college Ronnie became a youth pastor for a few years before beginning his music career. I think that's why God blessed him with a fantastic set of pipes. Every time I watch this I cry and I think every reactor does too. That's why it's called "Believe". If you don't in this life you will when you pass, but by then it's too late. As the Bible says, "Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord". Then you stay with him or you take the down elevator.

If you look at the pictures on the wall in his dorm room you will see the only male figure was Mr. Wrigley. He was a role model for him

I think I was one of the people who suggested it. I don't remember which reaction it was, but I think you asked for songs that made you feel something. The singer is Ronnie Dunn, the dark haired man is Kix Brooks. This song won Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year in 2006 at the Country Music Awards. They are country music legends! Great reaction. ❤

This is life. A series of days that many only appreciate later in life. The passing of someone reminds of those cherished memories and makes us wonder why we didn't appreciate them more. That was a great question from someone that young. Most people that age can't grasp the enormous loss of a spouse and child. Rare perspective for someone that age.

I lived next door to an old black man named Henry. He taught me how to play guitar. An awesome man. I went into the Marines. I came home and he had passed. He left me his guitars. Everytime I pick one up I think of Henry.

New subscriber. This showed up in my suggestions and I had to listen. Really love your reaction. This is country music at its finest. I always cry when I hear this song because it reminds me of a woman I knew when I was in high school and I was part of a youth group that went to a local nursing home every Wednesday night and I became friends with the most wonderful woman. Mrs. Pitts. She was a black woman who had lived an amazing life. She was a true Christan with a love for everyone around her. It broke my heart when she passed but as the song says, it doesn't end in a slow ride in a hearse and I have no doubt she made it through those pearly gates. I know I will see her and my grandmother again, another woman who influenced my life more than she will ever know. May they both R.I.P. We will meet again someday. Like I said, I am new, so I don't know if you have reacted to it yet or not, but if not, I suggest Vince Gill 'Go Rest High On That Mountain'. It's another country classic.

You almost cried when you heard that old man Wrigley died. Another country song with a great message is Daddy Never Was by Confederate Railroad, I’ve only seen a couple reactions to it. For a story about men and women, check out The River And The Highway by Pam Tillis, I haven’t seen a single reaction to it yet.
