I loved the Johanna, Winnifred, and Annie. The Jojo was so expressive and the Gertrude was a scene stealer. But they all had nice moments.

Marshal Knight actually the actors are from shows they did that year at their school and I’m guessing a lot of schools does that show

I agree entirely. But this girl seemed like such a standout to me, probably one of the best portrayals of the character I've seen. but yeah.....it's insane. It's very commonly done by directors with a "favorite" girl who are like "oh yes....this show has a good female role."
