Somewhere about 12 minutes into this, I heard something about speaking in tongues that didn't seem to make much sense, something about everyone having a prayer language, an ability to speak to God, which is speaking in tongues, but then he talks about another kind of speaking in tongues which is for public edification combined with this kind of speaking in tongues. This I can not agree with. It is the same manifestation of speaking in tongues, that is used both in prayer and praise to God, building us up spiritually, and it's this same manifestation or gift (speaking in tongues) which in public is to be interpreted. If you have a "prayer language" (If you do speak in tongues) then this is what you will be doing in public, and then you will interpret for the edification of others. That is how I have seen it done. It's how we used to function, and it worked. It worked well. If it works well in your church for one to speak in tongues and for another one to interpret, fine. I have never seen that done. We never did it that way, just saying what I know.

@David Perez, Nothing they have experienced with God can change what I have experienced with him. God never works contrary to the truth he reveals.

I have experienced this gift through me and sometimes the language I speak in or the utterance chances and comes with more force and power or anointing or however you’d like to call it. Normally when it comes like this I get the interpretation. I also have noticed it when I’m praying in the Spirit in my alone time with God. God will give me the interpretation to my prayer language as He wills. Then sometimes I begin to speak a different utterance with more power and anointing and I know at that moment that He is going to give me the interpretation because I know it’s a message from heaven. I also have seen in church when I was a boy and a young man one person get up and give a message in tongues and another interprétate. So I know it can function both ways. God bless you my brother.

There is the prayer language where we can make INTERCESSION for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8:26-27) and there is tongues with interpretation in the Assembly of the saints (for the common good) which is equivalent to prophecy (1 Corinthians 14 :27-28) . See also 1 Corinthians 12:10 Which lists the gifts for the Assembly of the saints and some rules for their orderly manifestation.

Solomon asked God for wisdom to rule his people, God's people and he received what he asked for. He didn't ask selfishly. God gave him a lot of wisdom, which we can read about and receive from the book of Proverbs. Do you remember the time two women came to him for judgment about a baby, and both women said it belonged to her? How did he know what to do? He received wisdom from God about what to do. A word of wisdom will be about what to do. Remember Philip the evangelist? He was told to go down south, and when he was down there, he was told to overtake a chariot. A word of wisdom will be about what to do. It may be some kind of practical instruction about living, but it should be something about what to do, or how to live.
