my biggest issue was learning to get on wihtout support. and yes i watched several videos on how. 1 guy had like 10 step program. which was great. but he missed a key factor almsot none of u all talk about. that is how you stand when getting on and ofc riding. i grew up 4 wheelers, horses, etc. so i alway was riding it standing my legs apart. once i finally seen someone gripping it with his legs. it all ofc made sense. and within minutes i was riding it finally without support.

@@UpcomingJedi Unfortunately (and I know this because I went through it) is that a great many EUC new rider learning videos on KZbin are terrible and teach the wrong way to learn. I know people mean well but many failed to understand what is the actual required first steps of the learning process.

I started seeing the Inmotion ad blitz for this wheel this last week. Looks like a nicer way to learn for sure! Especially for people who want to ride, but actually have a sense of self preservation 😆 Probably too far of a jump back for those just wanting a smaller wheel to practice more difficult techniques on, but if you already have a learner in the family, this seem like a game changer! Thanks for bringing up that the E20 would be great for learning to ride backwards, that was my question and why I would be interested in it for anything. I've been riding forwards for years and I try to go backwards a couple times each time I go riding, but have yet to be able to get the hang of it.

It helps get the sensation and trust down. It’s not exactly how an electric unicycle would ride backwards but it teaches you the fundamentals.

There's still a learning curve to the next level, but Dalton is now a pro! I think my wife is waiting for Lululemon to come out with a line of safety gear before she gets on a faster EUC.

I get that this beginner wheel lets you ride the wheel, but do these skills and habits transfer over to learning how to ride a regular EUC? If it doesn't then isn't it detrimental to develop muscle memories and habits that don't apply on a regular EUC so then you would have to try to unlearn before you can learn when you jump onto a regular EUC?

Technically, the tyre goes ON a wheel. So it is definitely 1 wheel, but with 2 tyres on it. If the two tyres could turn at different speeds then that would be 2 wheels.

It's a very unique wheel. You're not going to win any races on this thing, but it will get you on an EUC faster than anything else out there.

Great review. Is the speaker at least loud? I find speakers on wheels to be annoying. But on single trails, they are a must have (so people can hear you coming). edit: When I think about it, I would not take this wheel on a trail. LOL.

I started on a similar machine called the "swagroller"😂 Crappy machine, but it got me hooked on EUCs and made me buy a LOT of wheels 😂! maybe a good move from Inmotion, but at the end this is still a useless wheel once you've learned to ride. They could have achieved almost the same objective with a wheel like the z10 with an extra large tire. I use the z10 to teach newbies, and it works like a charm! Super stable (ok not as much as the e20) but stable enough to get it fast. With the advantage that I still enjoy riding my z10 from time to time instead of being ashamed of riding it like I would on a e20😂

We honestly don’t know. They had a show in Chicago and their shipment had not arrived yet. Inmotion asked us to ship it to the show and it came back with a trolley handle and seat. 😂

The biggest obstacle to mass adoption is price. It’s a big gamble to try this sport when the prices are where they are. Make something comparable to a bike, price-wise. For example, V8 for $300 usd would probably garner a lot more riders. The fun of the sport is way more easily realized when you aren’t fighting buyers remorse AND the complex learning curve of these EUC’s

The one thing ive learned about this model is that once you pay 400 bucks, you STILL dont own it. This still requires the buyer to " validate " themself through the app, disclosing persona details, before it goes faster than 5kph and Bitching Betty stops 'reminding' you to validate yourself. Its not like they help the police recover it in case of theft. Is this a 'thing' when you buy any other Inmotion product?

Still learning a normal one like ks 14d is perfect for beginner, why bother learning 50% and switch to a regular wheel and learn the other 50% with this e20 just to lie to yourself that it makes the learning curve a bit smoother? and that was the only reason anyone would even go for it, i believe any experienced rider will agree with me.

just an opinion but i think it is two wheels. the wheels are the objects touching the ground. the hub serves as an axle. if a car has an axle with two wheels, the same configuration of a hub serving as an axle means it is a two wheel configuration.

Ive had small little ebikes since 2013, but this is a really cool. I dont need my ebikes anymore since i only used them at work. I dont think these break very fast tho, i dont see a way to stop quickly. Also what happens if you get a flat ? I had to train myself how to fix my old ebikes. Are there places that repair these ?

Flat tires are actually rare, because you will naturally avoid pot holes and the contact patches on the tires are pretty thick. The instances I know of flat tires are usually because the tire was already bald for some time before going flat. If you do have one, you can take it to a dealer that will do it for you (it's hard to do a tire change by yourself). The breaking is actuated by the eletric motor, but the motors on these are far stronger than any scooter or ebike at the same price (one of the reasons why this things are expensive) if you know what you are doing, at slow speeds (up to 10 mph), the breaking distance is roughly the same as an ebike or scooter, past that, breaking distances become longer and longer the higher you go in velocity. @@watapikman and therein lies the rub. Finding anyone to work on e-bikes is really hard. I watched a video to figure out to fix my own flats. I just saw one for this unicycle one so at least they are out there

@@Sjrick there is a channel called 2 cells one pack in which they show how to change tires in most recent models, including this one, if I am not mistaking. But again I don't think flat tires are going to be a main concern in case you own one, but yes there are people out there to help with maintnence if you need it

This is not a good wheel to learn imo, when you do med-high speed turns, you need presssure on the outside foot (otherwise you'll tip over), but this wheel looks like it wants pressure on the inside tire to turn.

When I saw it being ridden sitting down it reminded me of the first EUC I think I saw which was in the Ok Go song video "I Won't Let You Down" (kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2K9c5KofKusm7c). It looked so much fun and this one gives me the same feeling. It has a similar speed to the original Segway that we had a chance to ride for the first time in Hawaii and it was a blast. The price point is great and I could see myself getting one to learn on.

I have a question from you guys, i want to buy a Scooter from 2500 up to 4000 Cad. i searched up and i saw that my best choise would be Nami burn e2 max 32 Amper battery. but burn e2 is an old model and I'm not sure.what do you guys offer me to buy with maximum of 4000 Cad?
