I think they did a good effort with Sydney, Athens and Beijing as well, always looked forward to the Olympic releases but it peaked with London 2012 And the Vancouver 2010 game was pretty fun too

I still play London 2012 to this very day.... Hands down the best Olympics video game... I even love to play with family and friends

London 2012 was fantastic. It had a lot of events and many of them were really fun to play. Brilliant couch play party game with friends.

I find it intriguing how developers come to the conclusion that making a game silly and cartoonish will always be a good business choice, no matter the genre of the game or the target demographic. People still play London 2012 for a reason. Atleast it respected the player.

Top 5 list, for Olympic Games, Videogames made until nowadays: 1. Barcelona 92, Olympic Gold. For Both SMD and SMS. 2. London 2012, Olympics. For PS3, Xbox360 and PC. 3. Tokyo 2020, Olympics. For PS4, Xbox One, N.Wii and PC. 4. Track Meet, 1995. For the original G.B. 5. Hyper Olympic 1984. For Arcade machines. Conclusion: Apart for the innovation of sometimes, of trying to make, a less serious game about the Olympic games... Ever since the Barcelona 92 Olympic Gold, release... Only the London 2012 Olympics, videogame; ever got close to the level of the 1992 release for both SMD and SMS consoles, from the early 1990's. And; I'd say that, there is still the need, for a: mo polished and less childish; updated version of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, videogame; would be title to finally get that number 1 spot, on the list; from a past 1990's, videogame.
