Hi Jimmy!! Superb as ever, I was wondering, why no to try to treat wood with vacuum chamber instead of pressure chamber? I think vacuum can eliminate almost all air bubbles very well from inside the wood, wath do you think about? Regards from Italy!
@annswarmfuzzies
@annswarmfuzzies 5 жыл бұрын
Mastro Faber vacuum chamber pulls bubbles to the surface as it expands the air in the resin. Good if you have a few hours to stand and watch it, and it’s in an open mold. In the pressure chamber, the pressure forces the bubbles to shrink to microscopic size, and cures the resin in a fraction of the time as well and can be done in a sealed mold like the ziplock bag.

@@annswarmfuzzies I'm a beginner with resin treatment, and maybe vacuum treatment is more suitable for composites such carbon and fiberglass right? Due to the reason that prevents formation of break points
