Very good show, and Jimmy all thru the segment on your dad’s hunt I was so hoping he would have gotten a elk but that is hunting. Your father is very fortunate to have a friend all these years that absolutely thought so much of your dad to give him his once in a lifetime elk permit, this fellow is a true friend and gentleman and they are both very lucky to be friends for so many years.

Must have been fly fishing in lake Huron if you are talking Atlantic salmon cought them in tawas Michigan inside the state dock with minnow in the spring and a slip bobber set at 7 feet.

That's a nice thing the department of natural resources does by letting you transfer a elk license or permit to another hunter with a medical need that is cool.

You sure won’t find elk like this in the Rockies 😀 they aren’t tame there !!!

We need to bring back the fur market. As environmentally friendly everyone claims they want to be look at all the petroleum it takes to make fake fur fake leather ect. As you drive down the road and see all the wasted resources dead. I grew up harvesting fur trapping and hunting I miss those days.

We don’t deer hunt in the state of Michigan from a vehicle. Why the DNR let elk hunting take place, makes me question are conservation..
@tonysmith57852 жыл бұрын
I didn’t see anyone “hunting” from a truck. BTW, our MDNR does allow hunting from a vehicle in some circumstances.
@MrMinkey112 жыл бұрын
@@tonysmith5785 Anytime you get out of the vehicle and harvest a animal that was spotted is hunting to me. Furthermore, in the state of Alaska, you cannot spot from a plane on the same day because it’s considered hunting and unethical. We should be adapting all the same rules as Alaska.
