As for the first tip: I can swipe back and forth, from left to right and from right to left. I can also go beyond the most recent application. Meaning, if i swipe from left to right multiple times, i will be going further back in the most recent applications. I am using S20 Ultra. You can verify this..

@ Dude one ui is a skin. Not a feature. Mostly companies get features from the os. The skin is just their twist. People prefer lighter skins on a light os because the chipset can handle the load better. That is why stock android is snappy. Now skins replicate stock android. Back in the days samsung had a heavy skin called touchwiz. Then came Samsung Experience and now One ui.

@@zackbrock6031 don't know if you have figured it out yet but you can swipe to change apps with the guide turned off. You just need to swipe up from the botton slightly and with your finger still on the screen move left or right.

The new way to move the cursor is very useful. The recent app lock is also helpful. I did not know how to use app pair until now 😂😂. The mute for a specific time would be useful when going places and I dont wanna be interrupted.

The navigation between apps by sliding back and forth is a great tip. You do have to have show gesture hints turned on for it to work though, which is preferable as I don't need the hide the keyboard button on anymore as it leaves enough room as to not constantly hit space while using the up gesture.

If your homescreen is full of icons and you're having a hard time finding somewhere to tap-and-hold for the options, just two-finger pinch in. 2. The Google keyboard has had the option to move the cursor via the spacebar for a long time (years?).

Hey Jimmy sorry to post on here but about good lock, i saw in a comment on another video how to do it if ur not in the us so thought u could make a vid for it to reach out to other people, I've tried it nd it worked and its very simple. All u need to do is remove sim card, restart phone, activate VPN(any1 will do, just the free version is ok nd also the 1 i used is the free tunnelbear) then clear data nd cache for galaxy store nd force stop and thts it. Just open it and search up good lock, download and get the modules and you can turn off vpn.

Another cool feature about the Dynamic Lock Screen is that you can select your own photos from your gallery to use as different lock screen backgrounds as well. Just select gallery instead of Wallpapers and choose your own pictures. Currently using It that way on my Note 10 plus

S10 with OneUI 2.1 here. Tip 1: I can swipe left and right on the bottom to go back and forth between more than two apps. Also,I do not have that "switch app" icon, just the apps sliding. Yours isn't because you have the Good Lock Task Changer active. Tip 5: GBoard also does cursor control by sliding on the space bar. Tip 7: My phone is carrier based, and the app menu says Lock This App. My favorte was tip 2, temporary mute.

Moving the cursor from the space bar is GREAT! I have the S10. For me the Task Changer doesn't work correctly if I have notifications set for the side gestures controlling the back command. The problem is that the home swipe often brings up recents instead. I hope this gets fixed in a subsequent version of Task Changer.

Thank you for your tips. One thing that surprises me is that till now Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G that I have is not getting the UI 2.1 update. It can only happen to Samsung Phone. Is there any way we can get the update manually. By the time we get these updates, Android 11 is in the offing. Thank you once again your help.

In order for you to use "switch last app", gesture hints needs to be turned on. It works for me.

#1 you can switch between apps by swiping both to the LEFT or RIGHT if you have full screen gestures on + Gesture hints off. #9 I don't have Bixby Routines in my Note9 so I use Routines in Goodlock

I think there is slight misunderstanding in tip #7, Locking the application will only prevent the launcher from closing the app it wont prevent the OS from killing background process. I don't know why this option is not available on your device. I'm currently using an exynos based Note 10+ I've 2 options 1. Lock this App 2. Keep open in background. The 2nd option locks the app in the background process.

These are great even though, I'm at the 'break' after #3. Wouldn't Dynamic screen savers, use up a lot of battery life? I've got Note10+, only 6 mos old and have horrible battery life. I guess no matter how much we pay or how much memory /ram, Samsung just doesn't want me to have a lot of apps stored on my phone, even if I don't use them and make sure things are always shut down or disabled. 🙄. I wish I had time to spend hrs watching your vids, this is the absolute best way to learn about Samsung phones. (yes, I'm subbed) thank you

Jimmy please let me know how I can get call recording in the US. I've tried call recording applications with no luck as the audio is muted during playback but, I've seen that in some countries the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus has call recording out of the box. Is there anything you recommend or any way I'm able to access that feature as it would be very handy for me to remember things during my service calls?

If you're using a Note 10+ in the US, I recommend Cube ACR. The developer has taken advantage of the new permissions offered in Android 10 to get call recording working well. Just be warned that it will not work for headphones or Bluetooth headsets, as this is also a limitation of the Android 10 implementation.

Hello Jimmy, I would like to ask if it's due to updates that the camera forces to use the wide camera instead of the telephoto when using 2x zoom on not so dim to dim locations. It also happens when I try to block the telephoto camera with my fingers. It has been bugging me since after the one ui 2.1 update.

Hey Jimmy, I recently went from one S10+ to another and I am noticing subtle differences. I am unable to get the swipe from app to app feature on the bottom as you show in this video. I also realized it doesn't do the animation when swiping from an app to the home screen that was added in Android 10. Hii. You should have good lock app installed and inside good lock you should have task changer module turned on. Use one of the task changer type and you could find the option to hide content in task manager like jimmy.

There is a limitation on Samsung's One UI 2.0 that does not allow or restrict the use of Android 10's gesture navigation when using a third-party launcher. ( I checked with my Nova Launcher Prime) Has this been corrected with One UI 2.1? Or not?
