Note 9 CANNOT BE TOPPED...at least right now. I've seen the note 10, and it's a beautiful device. I'm a Samsung loyalist and will remain one, but honestly I'm not impressed by the note 10, even though with 5g coming I'll eventually have to upgrade, but as for now the note 9 is pure gold!

Anyone thinking of switching from an iphone to android.. congratulations you will not regret it, especially if you love customization and making things your way, mostly everything can be done FREE, and u can still use video calling with Google duo, and RCS messaging with Google messages and a quick tweak.. android is for advanced users, and people into tech.. there could literally be 1 million phones and none look anything the same unlike iPhones, iPhones all feel, look and are basically all the same.. endless possibilities and features, you will find new things everyday.. and u can install 100s of apps on this phone and not notice any lagging.. I've been using the 512gb/8gb ram version since day 1, and my son uses the 128gb version, both still fast and running smoothly.. I'm on android 10 ine UI2.0 beta still, I'll be switching to the official version soon.. my devices are both factory unlocked with all the bands for all carriers.. such a great phone, still one of the absolute best phones for everything all in one, the note series is on a different level... I ran a note 4 up until this phone, it was rooted with a custom rom, I added wireless charging,I liked that I could change batteries on the fly, but this note9 easily gets me through a day, especially with my wireless charging pad in my truck, I'm never below 30% and I'm a pretty heavy user unless I'm working, standby time is also great, along with battery saving features this phone could last many days on a single charge with minimal use

It would be cool if we could use fingerprint scanner to lock our phones while fingerprint gestures are enabled , so , if we hold our fingerprint for certain amount of time , it will lock our smartphones , and if we swipe , then we use gestures. As current readers aren't swipe to unlock or lock. :)

Jimmy, we all can't "speed-comprehend". You're speaking at the speed of light (perhaps not so slow). zIf one is to understand, he needs a moment to process the info that fast in order to comprehend it. In return, one can appreciate the tips with much more retention and clarity. Slowing down to 1/2 tempo can assume a more capability to use reason and mind consciousness to follow along. everytime when I need to unlock phone through fingerprint or face recognition it requires me to push the power button which is annoying specially for finger print. My last phone Nexus 6P never required to push the power button, please let me know if there is way around. so that i can place my finger on the scanner and it unlocks without extra press of power button to first activate the phone first its so annoying.

So I just got my phone yesterday and am a little frustrated coming from note 5. Is the a way to create individualized text messages alert? Is there no apps or way to access video recordings except for in the photo gallery? Like is there not just a video gallery? And last question is. Is there a way I can keep my finger print or iris etc just to verify passwords, without having to have my phone locked?

I'm not sure how he did it personally, but you can download an app. I use Navigation Bar+ through the Samsung App store myself and while I don't have 5 icons, the way my icons look is different. But I'm sure you can find an app to make the change.

I put my whitestone dome on a few days after i got my note 9 and its amazing! I tried all the tempered glass ones you can find just about anywhere on my S7 Edge and they all sucked horribly. If you can't afford the whitestone one, I would recommend getting one of the iShield ones that are plastic. It will still protect your phone against scratches and will stay looking great for a long time. Pretty easy to install. But the whitestone on is amazing. I for sure thought I was somehow gunna mess it up because of peoples horror stories but it turned out how it should! It's been like 10 days and it looks perfect! :)
