It began on Show Case, a Canadian channel with some very small U.S. "help" financially. It was about to go belly up and shut down until these guys were brought to the attn of the recruiter and the owners. They literally said "what do we have to lose" and TPB became hugely successful almost from the start almost 20 years ago. There played a big part in Show Case continued growth and channel popularity.
