I feel the same way except I have imparted upon my children the gift of Boston sports despite living in VA. Luckily I recruited my Virginia native wife to being a Patriots fan, which wasn't hard since she was attracted to many of the players. So that made it easier for everyone else in our house to follow as well. But honestly my kids just love me and when I tell them Boston is the greatest they just naturally listen and accept.
