Pablo Finley my sister and I think we figured out the name of the next album. “Woodlore” (not woodvale like the mistake on the cover). It means the knowledge or wisdom of the woods, and is famously used in Ernest Hemingway’s short story series “The Nick Adams Stories” which is very much autobiographical, with “Nick Adams” basically being Ernest himself, a man who has been married 4 times, and cheated on each wife with the next, and all 4 of them were also writers but never got as much recognition since they were women. Taylor has already stated with folklore and evermore that she was inspired by writers and poets of the same era such as Emily Dickinson. Hemingway also once lived at “the lakes” she references in the song of the same name, and was inspired by throughout both albums. To make things weirder, all of the cover artwork for the releases of The Nick Adams Stories are extremely similar to the album artworks we’ve seen already as well as other promotional photographs. Also, Hemingway’s first wife, Hadley, had a very close connection to her sister, who died young. Her name was DOROTHEA! And a lot of lyrics of “Tis the Damn Season” seem to line up pretty well with some stories of Hemingway and some of his wives.
