TMNT Mutants In Manhattan - Krang BOSS RUSH LEVEL VERY HARD

First night with the game, made good progress! This level makes you fight all the standard bosses plus Krang! The levels themselves are OK, some are hit or miss but the bosses have been fun. The first boss took us 30 minutes at level 1 on very hard!

All these bosses very hard or normal? I wonder if the game cranks up difficulty based on number of players.

This entire level was on Very Hard. The big difference is the number of health bars, on hard and very hard they have 9 bars, and go into berserk mode at 6 bars. Normal is 5 bars and they go berserk at 3 making the fights fairly easier. On Very Hard you get 3 seconds to revive a turtle, Hard is 5, and I think normal/easy is 7 seconds which is also a huge difference! I don't think the games difficulty changes with the number of players, but I will tell you that playing solo is much more difficult then with a group and microphones since the cpu does quickly and takes FOREVER to eat their pizza lol

Dang. This looks like a worthy entry to the new age of beat'em ups. I think the naysayers were expecting too much from the direction it was obviously headed. It ain't Turltes in Time but at least you get all turtles, they all have different abilities amongst other tools. People complaining about level design? Pulease. Soon as the camera changes, lots of things have to cater to the experience. Would have been neat to have in person co-op. If not split screen it could have been cool to be able to switch cameras to each turtle or something maybe. Ah well. Thanks for the detailed observations. I think it was in one of your descriptions you mentioned TF Devastation has an easy exploit. May I ask what it is? Is it the dodge and 'witch time' esque mechanic? I'm doing a beat'em up dissection series on my channel and sooner or later I'd like to delve into the 3D beat'em up genre. Cheers.

People really seem to hate this game so far. I mean I sort of get it, but my expectations were set low for this game so I didn't feel disappointed. The combat systems are pretty good but don't offer the range that Transformers did. About that exploit, you can abuse Reversal Headshots in Transformers to farm points and get really easy SS ranks. I made a video for it in my channel a ways back. You could also really break the game with ridiculously overpowered weapons, where so far in TMNT I don't see any way to actually break the game other then improving charms which takes a ton of time and grinding to even improve lol. I would imagine you know about it from my channel, but Yakuza would be a great series to check out in the 3d beat em up genre, as well as something older like Godhand! I keep hearing great things about Godhand or other games like Urban Reign? Those games never got my attention because I wasn't drawn to the characters. Asura's Wrath although heavy in the qte department is a well boiled beat'em up I find. I'll have to give it more thought but I'm not sure what the devs could have done to appease people for this new tmnt. Complaints of disarming bombs or moving objects right? If they didn't have that, it would be more of the same brawler action that they rant about being tired of. I'm hesitant to delve into 3D brawlers in my series because around that era, they really amp up the replay value with unlockables and such. It's quite a bit to cut through. I want to beat a game before I do an episode. Maybe I'll ask for a guest or something haha. I'll sift through your vids for that Devastation exploit. I was planning on picking up a copy I saw for 19 bucks but now it's gone up to 28 because EB is having a 'sale'.
