I think that he's overly cringey because he knows he's on camera most of the time so he tends to overly do more things with others. There's instances where the cameras aren't there and you see that he has a normal sense to things and isn't overly reactionary to situations. So he basically overreacts knowing that he's on camera, but when he's not he has a decent sense of approaching a conversation.
