The reason why people hated it was -The bad combat -p2w char being unfair (KJ) -Working on admin characters and KJ more than actual characters (they were one move away from finished by the time saitama's first ultimate move came out and was very buggy) -Characters besides admin and KJ had no vfx -Goku's moves used to be extremely underwhelming with LITERALLY no vfx -Saitama's ultimate being very buggy And by stolen assets the game used to be a "free kj" game with stolen assets from tsb This is just from what ive heard so dont blame me if i got something wrong

leaving my honest opinion here: the game is completely original and its actually better than most battlegrounds games that are already out the dev team is working hard on their characters (despite being slow af) and the animations/vfx are great the game only received massive hate and backlash because in the early stages of the game, saitama was pretty much copied. fumblit made a single video about it and the entire community not only gave it popularity, but hate aswell kj is also copied, but it receieved a massive rework, sfx, vfx, and animations on kj are now entirely original, and this goes the same with saitama tbh, everyone is just hating on it bc they wanna fit in
