Filmed at Edinburgh Castle. All three cannons are stored on site. One is set up where they currently are. One is stored just on the far side of the wall. The descending stairs lead to where it's stored. The 3rd is stored in the Scottish War Museum located about a hundred yards behind the cannons

Her Majesty was born in 1926, so by that calculation they'd fire 1,926 rounds. 21 is the standard salute, with 41 being used on some occasions (earlier today (10/4/21) for instance).

Actually, they're not cannon balls they're blank artillery shells and technically anything that fires a projectile is classed as a gun no matter how big or small
