I just want to you to know that he was a Company Commander trainee who was awarded best trainee award and a Private First Class who is promoted to special class elite warrior and Assistant Drill Instructor who got early promoted to Coropal and double promoted to Sergeant ,also a Squad Leader. In his service, he was awarded 2 x Company Commander level awards 7/8 Battalion Commander level awards. He is the only K-pop idol in history to have such honors..like it's mandatory for every korean citizen to join the military. He served literally at the front lines. He was enlisted when it was cold af, jin hates cold. He did really well better than a common man, let alone an idol. SO PROUD OF HIM

Jimin is the type to need companionship, affection, and he is very empathetic. His role in the military has him being very self reliant - extreme on the solitary end. I loved watching this video. Jin was obviously well liked, and made a lot of friends in the military. Seeing his fellow soldiers farewell him was very moving. Seeing BTS great Jin was so beautiful. And the way they were all hugging each other was really touching. Especially Tae and Jimin hugging - that had me in tears. And Namjoon playing Dynamite on the Saxaphone... I loved that. And it makes perfect sense to me that Joonie is in the Division Band. After all, the Military would probably prefer Namjoon - the God Of Destruction - to have a Saxaphone in his hand than a loaded gun. lol (Sorry; I know it's an obvious joke). It's so good to see Jin back. And I can't wait to see what happens next.

The Korean channel I watch, K-Pop Shock, reported that thousands of ARMYs lined up in the streets outside of HYBE while the live was going on... so that they could see the van carrying the members when they left the building. I was surprised that you guys did nit know that RM's military assignment was to play sax in a the military marching band. Do you know that JK is a cook; Jimin does calculations for targeting weapons, Hobi is an instructor, Tae is in Special Forces stationed in Seoul, and Suga's assignment was not announced.

And I am glad Jimin has such an important job, that lets him use his math skills. I feel his aptitude for math often gets overlooked (that's what happens when you are so talented in so many areas). I hope that they stay healthy, make new friends, and make the most of every opportunity the military offers. And that they come back revitalized. I am glad they are learning new skills/refining existing skills. And it will be interesting to see how that impacts them after discharge. The way they were all hugging each other was so touching.

I think that while Tae's personal "mission" in the military was to conquer his fear (of heights) and bulk up, Joon's was to learn the saxophone. So the dude signed up for the military band. Jin was crying when saying goodbye to his unit and needed a moment. So heartwarming to see him hug the members. Taehyung looks bigger and taller - what has that guy been eating? Apparently one of the reporters said that yoongi was in the car waiting to greet him but thats wasnt confirmed due to the tinted windows...but we do know yoongi was with them all at the Hybe building because the took a group photo. Suga made it the the celebration gathering on Jin's vlive. First Jin did his own and then there't another one that followed with all the guys and Suga is there. I can't remember why he couldn't make it to the actual departure like the rest of guys. To see them all together again on that vlive was so emotional. I had tears in my eyes and then a big fat smile. I can't wait till they're all together for good! 2025 seems so far away. It's exactly 1 hear away from the date. June, I think the 25th, 2025 s when all the guys will be out of the military. They can't post photos of the enlisted members in uniform on their official social media, but they took advantage of the news/media who were there to show ARMY their reunion. I guess Yoongi is respecting some rule (not sure what) about remaining out of the spotlight while in alternate service. He was there for their OT7 bangtan photo after Jin's live. I'm not too clear about the laws regarding posting photos of enlisted soldiers in uniform because the guys have posted onto their Instagram. I'm only assuming about the official accounts 🙂

Joon joined the military band of the 15th division which is known to play during summer festivals so we may see Joon with his military band more in the coming days. If I remember correctly, rapper Zico was part of that band when he was in the military and his video performing went viral.
