those people don't understand that this is his original demo version years ago. and demos normally have placeholder lyrics which may not make sense since priority is the melody. and since this version was not chosen then, it was placed in the back burner and nothing was changed. it was the Bang PD version which was originally released. but Jin kept this since he considers this as his OWN SONG so it is truly special for him.. so in this Proof comeback, he took the opportunity of releasing it, even at its raw nature and original placeholder lyrics. hope this be included in his solo album where they will probably polish the lyrics. though the raw version already sounds so good, for official release, they may go for the high quality recording as well. could just imagine how this will turn out to be another masterpiece and an iconic song just like the previous version. and Jin will be so happy as this is his ORIGINAL and very OWN SONG.

This version of Epiphany is like a masterpiece filled with overwhelming sounds that are both soothing and touching. It is beautifully sung by Jin, and really showcases Jin's wonderful vocal range and emotional resonance. The music like in the original version is out of this world good. The lyrics, though they don't make total sense by themselves do say enough for the listener to understand the sentiments of the song and to be deeply moved. The more I listen to this song the more I love it. Jin deserves so much credit for the wonderful job he did on this demo, he took it to another level and then some. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves for it.

Jin wrote this original. Mr. Bang, his boss, wrote the version that was published. He kept Jin's ending. I love Jin's version better. "Please be by my side. You're my lullaby." It IS emotional! He is my fav BTS singer. I Love his voice! And he is so humble. He has no idea how talented he is. I hope he drops this as his own single. And I hope he puts it on his solo album!

The Korean and English version maybe very different but one thing hits common in both songs. It hits you deep into your heart. Its just beautiful Both are master piece songs that only Kim Seokjin can deliver.

I have read comments about the lyrics of this demo version, not only in this video. It is true that one may think that taking the lyrics word by word may not make sense. a composer told me this is not unusual especially for demo versions. they usually put lyrics as placeholder. they complete first the melody and finalize the lyrics. but since they chose Bang PD's version of Epiphany, these demo lyrics remained as is while the lyrics of the released version was so good and perfect. and for the Proof album, they just used the raw version and this is why it is called a demo. and although the sound was already good, this was not an actuall high quality recording. Jin could have done the original lyrics in Korean and used a gibberish translator just like the one in weverse. so the english lyrics were not really right. but taking the whole thing, it can give an idea of the message he wanted to convey. but I could just imagine that if this version was released and the lyrics were polished with high quality recording, this would have surely been a very beautiful and iconic song and another masterpiece just like released version. but it's not too late. hope this can be included in his solo album (Epiphany - Lullaby). This can even be an OST. I used to call the released version as the ORIGINAL. But come to think about it, this demo version is the JIN ORIGINAL version of EPIPHANY. the releases one is BANG PD ORIGINAL.

@@marysantana2240 Epiphany in the Love Yourself album was Bang PD's version and not Jin's. Jin mentioned this in one of his old vlives where he even showed disapppintment. So I call that the released version. ORIGINAL version is this Jin demo version which I now also call JINPIPHANY.
