I know we love df4 for spike enders on the big stages, but df3~3 transitions into Red Eyes now for a guaranteed ECD1 unless they quick stand block. Also, you can wait to see if they start standing and hell sweep instead. You should give it a shot next time you fight a bear on Coliseum for promo

Also, df2 into df gives you a free Breaking Step, from which you can do a one button electric by pressing 2 immediately after. So it's gonna be df2, df, then 2 straight away.

I REFUSE to go back to ranked until I get better with Jin. I’ve been getting completely in casual matches by red ranks and I even lost I around ten sets in a row. Not matches, entire sets. I finally won two in a row before I had to go but damn if I feel scrubby. I try all these techniques but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. They read my lows and launchers damn near every time. I mix it up but they always end up guessing right on the block.

I choked a handful of times today and I couldn’t help but be mad at myself. When I say choke, I mean several times I would get the opponent to near death and drop my combo or do something dumb like use my heat smash that is scaled to death leaving them with a sliver of health to take me out.

ECD1 hits grounded, so it's a good followup to spike enders or moves like hell sweep. If they getup kick I think you just get a straight up launch, it's brutal.

Learn while standing or while crouching attacks. It will get you muscle memory into crouching more often and being able to punish the low attacks you block or low parry.
