He was choking up and tearing up. He was remembering what his trainee years were like. Jin had literally just turned 18 in international age when he suddenly became responsible for 6 younger brothers away from home, the youngest only 13 (JK in international age). You can see him vowing to be the best big brother/eldest hyung so no one will be disappointed in him. At the same time, he has just left home and started unìversity on early admittance, after being recruited as an actor they audition him as a singer and despite his lack of training the see what a good voice he has and change his casting to vocalist and he has to catch up years worth of singing and dancing. I could go on for days about all Jin did for the younger members. The thing is they always had an elder hyung during those difficult years but Jin did not. Jin was the elder hyung. And he wants to keep on giving that even though no one gave it to him.

I must correct you because it's a matter of public record that it was ìn fact Jungkook who raised Jin. Jungkook moved to Seoul when he was 15 (13 international age) and raised Jin who was 20 (18 international age.) JK did a great job! 😁That was such a kookie thing to say. I wish Jin knew how much ARMYS around this world admires him as a person. Tbh, he is my role model at times. As an introvert, it's very hard for me to break out of my shell and open upto people who aren't close to me, but Jin makes it seem so easy, even when we know it's not.His personality was one of the many reasons I was drawn into BTS, the way he always broke the ice in overseas interviews or just him being goofy during RUN eps. He may come off as this sassy person, but we would be surprised with the amount of respect he receives from everyone. What I've noticed today, while I rewatched some run eps (coz I was bored lol) was that he really is one of the quiter ones among the members and only chimes in when the the environment is a bit tense, which is a typical 'introvert who puts others comfort before himself' behaviour. As the eldest, i believe, he surely plays a bigger role than what is shown, in keeping the group knit together. To summarize, I love this man for all he is hahaha. PS: I MISS EATJIN!!!😭
