This episode/chapter is pivotal as it sets it apart from a lof other power fantasy genres. Sung Jinwoo might have an insanely overpowered ability, but the dreaded realization that his new powers are not truly his own, and there is something greater essentially using him as a pawn with the system to is such a great twist on the genre, and it also creates an amazing mystery on where it will lead to and how Jinwoo will procede with his powers.

YO MANHWA READERS LISTEN UP, am I the only one who's disappointed that the skill named *_Murderous Intent_* instead of *_Bloodlust?_* was that the official translation? and btw I feel like some kills are toned down a bit (the drawings & animation), the manhwa is more intense (detailed expressions & overall nuance). but oh well since it's more difficult to animate every little details in the manhwa, Imma try to suck it up ig p.s. i LOVE how they added an extra glimpse of Chairman Go's strength y'all 🤧🔥

few bits here and there have been a little of a letdown, this is a clear localisation issue where they think "bloodlust" is a bad term rather than the whole "murderous intent" they went with. Means the same thing ultimately but the punch is far less impactful and that's where I'm disappointed. There's worries they'll do similar things for some of the other stuff...and I swear if they use something other than Arise I'm going to lose it.

um actually I didn't mean the overall animation tho, just the killing part. the way he kills those thugs are different from the manhwa. pretty sure the light/fire mage is supposed to be sliced EXACTLY the same as Sukuna's cleave technique, and some other guys hand was supposed to be broken whilst Jinwoo stabbed him, also they didn't show how brutal the kills were. maybe my expectations were just high for this ep since they done gory Ep 2 justice, but oh well as long as they got the key moments right on the money i'll try be cool with it lmao agree on the ost btw @@iversithy1927
