When I went to Japan in high school my host family gave me a Jinbei as a present and I cherished it! I would love to buy one now as an adult. I remember it being so comfortable in the summer time.

Thank you for your comment. I am living in Kamakura and it's ancient old city , so it's no problem. People think I am a temple guy. So Kamakura ,Kyoto and near the Big temple , It's no problem. If not , some people see you someone a little different. But Samue and Jinbei is very Relaxing👍

@@CyberJapanesque yes yes! thank you for answering my question, i was in japan right before corona, i purchase samue because i saw some artisant and temple staf wearing it so relaxing, i love it so much, i really want to wearing it again next time after japan opening its border, walking around kyoto on it. but im scared if im offend japanese citizen by doing so. thank you so much, i hope someday you will make video abaout buying samue either its new or second hand samue, i also love japanese boro style cloth, japan sure is special country everything in there is make me happy.

@@muslihat2487 In my country Poland people think i wear a pyjama. I wear only when im going to swiming pool in summer like 10 minutes from my home. I seen a lot of weird looking at me and got question few time why i wear a pyjama in outside even i got question if im crazy and have mental problem. So depend from country

@@muslihat2487 In the US it's worn by people who practice Japanese type massage, Zen practitioners, such things. Also shakuhachi players like I am (beginning) The way I look at it is, if Japanese guys can wear suits, then I can wear samue or hakama etc. I wore samue and traditional zoris and even had my shakuhachi with me in 2019 Obon and I didn't meet with any disapproval, and one old guy approved so ... it's all good!
