Topaz: 35 + 21 + 126 + 134 + 64 + 29 + 29 + 140 + 140 + 60 ---> ~778k JY: 30 + 96 + 670 + 50 + 70 + 120 + 560 ---> 1.6mil Robin: 18 +19 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 ---> ~237k 🗿 --- Also here is my statement about the recent Robin Reliance arguments floaring around: Everyone uses her mainly because Robin is simply the most cost effective DPS buffer I would compare it to using a new 5* DPS. Compared to older harmony/DPS characters, newer ones like Robin/Acheron simply have more buffs. If using a newer harmony with more buffs is frowned upon, then why isn't using a new DPS with more buffs any different? The name of the game is powercreep. It is impossible to keep up without investing in powercreep through eidolons, new cracked supports, or new cracked DPS.

That being said roughly 200k to 300k DMG of his follow up damage came from topaz (maybe even more) talent /E1 and about 6 procs of robin (like 100k Dmg ). This is not to dunk on him but rather to mention how broken is the core robin/topaz for any follow up attack. Topaz gave Jing LL attack about 74% crit damage and 100% damage taken to the enemy

The players of this game are so funny because all the doomposts say: 'Wow, this character is absolute trash because they need high investment 🤓' Dude, all characters in this game need some time and investment to become really strong, and let's be honest, comparing an old character to a recent one is like comparing a hippopotamus to a lion

Needing to invest in eidolons for older characters to get the same level of output as a new character without eidolons would literally prove the statement, "need high investment" correct. Are you dense? Like actually take your two statements and logically analyze them. If you're trying to prove the "doomposts" wrong about needing high investment on "trash" characters, i.e. some of the early characters, then why would you make an analogy saying "of course they'd suck compared to new characters"? I don't even agree with these statements because Seele's still broken if you know how to abuse her mechanics. I'd say given the same level of investment in eidolons and signature LC, older characters can be capable of the same level of output as a newer character, but they're harder to play because newer characters have a higher skill floor. You also have to figure out how to use older DPS with the newer supports because newer supports are what changes how strong they are, and generally, those supports are meant to supplement newer DPS. There's also recency bias because of how current MoC always caters to the new banner DPS.

I think those that are mad feel that way since thumbnail and title might’ve suggested that JY was going to carry without a subdps like Topaz (as for Robin, I mean she’s in every team anyway so as long as she’s at most E2 (lower is better for relatability) then at least for me its fine)

Don't Worry! Sparkle can easily be swapped for Tingyun if you have Robin! The damage is pretty close too. You have a second chance!

Iirc I heard someone with calcs that said TY and Sparkle are super close when they are the slotted into a Robin team. I think that's pretty true at e0/s0 sparkle, but the biggest advantage sparkle has is in her LC (my personal favorite harmony LC) which gives + 10/28 crit. Unfortunately she might not rerun for a while, but don't worry. At our current pace, Jing Yuan will certainly get better supports soon!

I highly recommend e1s1 Robin! As for Topaz, she is very good and has a ton of synergy with all FuA DPS, but for JY, I only recommend her for 0-Cycles where you need the damage output of a dual dps comp. In Standard gameplay, you are better off with Hypercarry JY

In context, you can even do 0-cycle using Physical MC should you have the top tier harmony and their important eidolons / signature, so yeah it is more on current meta situation rather than Robin's fault, it is basically the option we have right now.

Robin is def the best at zero cycling - on average at high investment you can get 3 turns on each teamate but robin allows for 5 if you play her right with tingyun to 4 without her and then 5 on the next wave by withholding ehr ult then ulting on the last bit of action value. Legit no unit can abuse than at that level.

@@909090438 you expected a brute force run? 0-cycles are about problem solving, not throwing big numbers at a wall. It's a dual DPS comp where one covers the other's weaknesses. Topaz focuses Kafka down to low HP and JY takes the other enemy from 100-0 HP while cleaning up Kafka's 400k HP remaining I'm sure if you tally all the damage up, JY deals the same (but probably a lot more) damage throughout the showcase
