I'm 70 yrs young, learning about my native roots. Thank you for showing the modification steps. Soon, I'll be dancing jingle style, with pride. Native Pride. Ojibwa, Missippi River Band from the White Earth Reservation, Minnesota. Then, I will teach my daughters and granddaughters to dance. Great video.

Omgg thank u I’ve been trying to find a good tutorial for ages! I tried using powwow videos but it’s a little complicated for me to understand but this has helped me so much idk it I’m gonna actualy dance powwow but it’s something I’ve been wanting to do just at home by myself so thank u so much!

I'm practicing this :) I just have a hard time kinda jumping and doing the double toe tap at the same time but I'll get it. Practice makes perfect :)

i learned it a little faster by just saying 1,2 in my head and jumping i learned to keep jumping when not when dancing like just doing jumping jacks so your legs will get better at jumping higher

Amazing vid, I'm practicing this but I need some advice, my dad is Plains Cree on his dad's side but he's never told me about him or any other family members. I want to reconnect with all my culture but I don't really know how, we also didn't grow up on the Rez and my dad changed his name to a more white sounding one :(. If anyone could give me advice or suggestions, pls let me know
